Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care, administer medications, and develop and execute individualized care plans. The role collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care across units.

You will document care, participate in performance improvement activities, and educate patients and families while maintaining regulatory compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process with an interdisciplinary team.
• Administer prescribed medications according to standards and policies.
• Document care in accordance with standards of care.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families; support physician and policy-based care.
