Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Education and Infection Preventionist. This part-time night shift role focuses on leading education programs, clinical orientation, and developing the hospital-wide Infection Control Plan to improve patient safety.

You will contribute to a culture of teamwork, uphold high standards of care, and work on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of education initiatives for clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN/ASN or nursing diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a bedside RN.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assess, plan, implement and evaluate education programs including clinical orientation of new employees.
• Develops the hospital-wide Infection Control Plan; evaluates its effectiveness and reports findings to leadership and committees.
• Collaborate with nursing team to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
