Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services seeks an experienced RN Educator of Clinical Education and Practice to blend clinical nursing with education. The role leads orientation, competency development, and ongoing clinical education while maintaining bedside nursing responsibilities.

Ideal candidate remains clinically active, mentoring nurses and CNAs, coordinating IV/BLS training, and supporting regulatory readiness across the facility.

Qualifications

• Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
• Experience providing in-service education or clinical teaching
• Ability to work bedside while leading education and staff development
• Willingness to accept cart-nurse assignments as needed
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with nursing leadership and frontline staff

Responsibilities

• Lead new-hire orientation and clinical education
• Coordinate competency validation and in-services
• Develop nurse preceptors and ongoing education
• Provide direct patient care as cart-nurse when needed
• Support BLS and IV-certification programming and EMS records
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on regulatory readiness and quality priorities
