Job summary

HealthPartners in Bloomington, MN seeks an RN Education Development Specialist, CCA to onboard new employees during department orientation and deliver education topics through experts or independently. The role supports the annual plan for Disease & Case Management and collaborates with leadership to ensure high-quality educational opportunities.

Responsibilities include designing education, maintaining CEU processes, coordinating trainings, and promoting evidence-based practices across teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare, education or other related field.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
Three to five years experience with instructional design and/or training development.
Three to five years experience and expertise in communicating with staff at all levels.
Excellent customer service and team-building skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently or in a group.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to plan and track timelines.
Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
Consultant skills to translate business needs into educational programs.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops and provides education to all teams within Disease and Case Management.
Creates and maintains templates for learning modules.
Coordinates and facilitates department-wide trainings with leadership.
Maintains educational records and responds to aggregate reports requests.
Supports annual training plans with DCM Education Resources.
Promotes best practices and keeps current on industry standards.
