St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Education Specialist BSN to facilitate development of care giving staff in applying the care delivery process along with nursing care delivery.

The role involves coordinating orientation, in-services, CPR training, and continuing education, while ensuring policy compliance and serving as a mentor. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s is preferred, with 3+ years of nursing experience and BLS Instructor status within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in NJ or PA, depending on work location.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• BLS Instructor status within 1 year of hire.
• Experience in staff education and training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates orientation, in-services, CPR training and continuing education.
• Ensures compliance with orientation policies and procedures.
• Serves as professional role model and mentor.
• Completes documentation for educational programming and maintains records.
• Assists with educational projects.
• Supports innovations in practice and education.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities.
• Supports community health improvement efforts.
