Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with a day night shift 11:00am-11:00pm.

You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborating with a dedicated team of techs and paramedics to maintain high-quality outcomes. Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
