Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. You will travel between WellStar facilities in Georgia, delivering expert, compassionate care in busy ED settings during evening shifts.

Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience is required, with BSN preferred and active RN license in Georgia or compact state. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.

• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) required.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS – Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
• TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
