Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department. Full-time position, 36 hours per week, night shift (6:30pm–7:00am).

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or within 30 days.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• ED nursing experience preferred and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other hospital departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Support a 26-bed ED with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
