Job summary

SCL Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with state practice standards. You will assess and plan nursing care, evaluate health data, and provide health teaching and counseling to patients.

The role requires ASN or RN licensure with a preferred Bachelor's degree and current BLS. You may float to related units and be on-call as needed, with a commitment to high-quality patient care at our Colorado facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Evaluate health status through ongoing data collection and assessment.
• Provide health teaching and health counseling.
• Deliver therapy and treatment to support life and well-being, directly or via supervision or teaching others.
• Execute delegated medical functions.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document according to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize resources as needed.
• Promote SCL Health mission, vision, and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency.
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
