Job summary

MedCadre seeks a Registered Nurse for the CVOR in Colorado. The role involves independent nursing duties, delegated medical functions, and continual health data assessment in a fast-paced surgical setting.

You will evaluate patient status, provide health teaching, and coordinate therapy plans while adhering to hospital and regulatory guidelines. On-call shifts and occasional department float may occur.

• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Uses resources as needed.
• Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Education Requirement

Required Education:

• ASN
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.

Preferred Education:

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• BLS - American Heart Association.

Schedule Notes

• Shift: 10 hour day shifts, 0645-1715, no set day off, CVOR call shifts required
• On Call: CVOR RN will work in the CVOR and/or main ORs and 21 CVOR call shifts in a 9-week schedule
