Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our outpatient care team in Ohio. You will provide direct nursing care under physician direction, collect health data, and help develop and implement patient care plans to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities include holistic patient assessment, education for patients and families, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an ACNE/ACEN accredited nursing program.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, and provides a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient,
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes,
• Implement the interventions identified in the plan of care, and evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of the outcomes,
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Perform professional nursing work of considerable difficulty including the care of patients as outlined by physicians and the objectives and policies of the organization.
• Provide patient and family health education and health assessment.
