Qualifications

• Nurse management experience in long-term or skilled nursing settings.
• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice.
• RN nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience in a setting with similar population.
• Minimum one year of management experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal facility regulations.
• Compassionate, dedicated, and committed to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians.
• Participate in development and achievement of nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plan and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor documentation systems.
• Provide direct resident care as staffing demands require.
• Innovate to continually improve systems and processes.
