Job summary

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking a RN Director Medical Surgical to lead patient-centered care, oversee unit staffing, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. The Director ensures high quality care and fosters accountability within the team.

This role requires Florida RN licensure, BSN, BLS/ACLS within 30 days, 3 years acute care nursing, and 1 year of management experience in an acute hospital setting. Sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum of 1 year management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital Setting

Responsibilities

• The Director ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
