HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking an experienced OR RN to lead nursing care during surgical procedures. The role focuses on coordinating the operating room service line, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining instrument readiness.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of OR RN experience with ACLS/BCLS certifications and strong collaboration with surgeons and staff. This full-time position is based in Florida and offers comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Assists in providing safe and effective nursing care as the O.R. RN during surgical and other invasive procedures through the performance of specific duties under the direction of the Director/Manager.

Service Line Coordination Responsibilities (when applicable): The expert practice of the Operating Room Service Line Coordinator is essential in ensuring safe patient outcomes, completion of the daily operating room schedule, and physician/ employee satisfaction. Responsibilities of Specialty Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following as related to the surgical specialty:

1. Maintains expert knowledge of service specialty (procedures, equipment, supplies, surgeon preference).

2. Establishes / Maintains direct, collaborative, working relationship with Specialty Surgeons.

3. Provides new hire orientation to service specialty.

4. Pursues continuing education regarding specialty procedures/supplies/equipment.

5. Provides continuing education regarding specialty procedures/supplies/equipment.

6. Maintains accurate preference cards.

7. Ensures specialty instrument sets are complete and maintained in good working condition.

8. Established collaborative relationships within Surgical Services (Supply Chain, OR Clinician, SPD) to meet the demands of continuously evolving services, procedures, equipment use, and instrument care

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt

• Basic Cardiac Life Support

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Must have 3-5 years of experience in the OR as a RN
