Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Director to lead the Senior Bridges Geriatric Psychiatric programs, ensuring high-quality patient care across inpatient and outpatient services. The role includes oversight of social services, intake, quality, and program marketing to referrals, physicians, and the community.

The director holds 24/7 operational responsibility for the department and will work within UHS’s large network of subsidiaries to advance care standards and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.

Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition. We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries. All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.

Inpatient behavioral health services or residential mental health care is a long-term stay at a residential mental health facility that allows for the maximum structure and treatment for mental health disorders.

From support systems, education and medication management to family, individual and group therapies, patients live at the residential facility while attending treatment. Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Participates in the design of clinical programs across the continuum of care.
• Works effectively with multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficacy of treatment.
• Acts as an administrative resource for hospital business development and markets the program on a consistent schedule.
• Consistently evaluates quality of care delivered as well as productively and cost-effectiveness of systems; seeks the direction and support necessary to implement the appropriate modifications

Qualifications
