Responsibilities

  • Assesses patients for dialysis needs.

  • Precepts new employees.
  • Attends interdisciplinary care committee meetings.
  • Monitors patients for adult dialysis.
  • Monitors CRRT, hemodialysis and all PD modalities.
  • Audits equipment and coordinates dialysis tech II and LPN IIs.
  • Acts as charge nurse as needed.
  • Consults with physicians and nursing staff 24/7.
  • Serves on at least one nursing council or project team.
  • Demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
