CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, ND, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Kidney Dialysis Unit to provide high-quality care for renal patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate dialysis care and supervise the nursing team according to ND regulations and hospital policies.

The role requires a nursing degree, ND licensure or compact state eligibility, and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of North Dakota or in a compact state (Graduate Nurse/G.N. must practice under supervision while work authorization is valid).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Must be completed within the orientation period and maintained as required).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise care according to policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care while adhering to established standards.

  • Assure quality of care by adhering to policies, philosophies, and standards of care regulated by the ND State Board of Nursing, the ND Nurse Practice Act, and other governing agency regulations.
  • Utilize the nursing process, including planning, assessment, intervention, and evaluation, to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care focused on optimal patient outcomes.
  • Meet the educational needs of patients, families, and co-workers utilizing principles and current professional literature to achieve positive learning outcomes.
  • Delegate nursing care with respect based on knowledge of staff qualifications, competencies, and individual patient care needs.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.

THIS JOB OFFERS BOTH AN INCENTIVE AND RELOCATION: We are offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
