Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to support patients and families with high-quality care and knowledge for optimal wellness.

  • Record patient information in the EMR and prepare charts.
  • Support patients and families to promote optimal outcomes.

We are offering a $3,000 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

  • Adherence to Standards & Mission: Acts as a role model, adhering to the organization's mission, values, and quality standards established by regulatory bodies like the ND State Board of Nursing, to foster a compassionate and healing environment
  • Patient & Employee Safety: Ensures safety by strictly following infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and controlled substance regulations
  • Patient Care & Support: Utilizes the nursing process to support the implementation of care plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes and providing comprehensive patient/family support
  • Team Collaboration & Communication: Fosters cooperative relationships within healthcare teams through effective communication, responsiveness, rapport-building, and active participation in problem-solving
  • Clinical & Administrative Tasks: Performs essential clinical duties including phlebotomy, CLIA waived lab testing, specimen handling, recording patient information in the EMR, preparing charts, and assisting providers/nurses with procedures
  • Operational Support & Competency: Maintains clinical areas, restocks supplies, monitors outdates, coordinates supply orders, and consistently completes job-specific and age-specific competencies as outlined in performance appraisals
Job Requirements
Required
  • Graduate of a Certified Nurse Assistant program
  • Active CNA license in the State of North Dakota
