Job summary
Daybreak Independent Services Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Day Habilitation and Residential Programs. The RN will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and train staff to promote the health and well-being of those we serve.
Ideal candidates have an active NY RN license and experience with developmental disabilities. The role includes a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $105,000 based on experience and a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active RN license in New York State.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in community health or residential services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments and health screenings.
- Develop and maintain individualized nursing care plans.
- Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care.
- Monitor medication administration and health documentation.
- Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on health-related procedures.
