Job summary

Masonicare Corp in Mystic, CT seeks an RN Designee (Assisted Living) for full-time daytime coverage at Masonicare at Mystic. The role includes leadership, supervision of RCAs and LPNs, and ensuring comprehensive resident assessments and care plans.

Responsibilities include medication management, physician order follow-through, and education for residents and families. On-call rotation and open shift flexibility are required to support 24/7 care.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with CT
• Home care/assisted living experience a plus
• Two years of full-time clinical experience (or diploma/ADN with four years)

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments to establish resident plans of services
• Develop and evaluate resident plans of services
• Coordinate and document medication management and physician orders
• Supervise RCAs, LPNs, and other staff; ensure continuity of care
• Conduct staff education and on-going professional development
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of care and assessments
• Schedule and participate in education programs and meetings
• Ensure 24-hour nursing availability and on-call rotation
