Job summary

Blakehurst Life Plan Community in Towson, MD is seeking a part-time Delegating Nurse (20 hours/week) to provide clinical oversight and supervision of resident care in the assisted living program.

The successful candidate will be an RN licensed in Maryland with CPR certification and supervisory experience; completion of the Delegating Nurse for Assisted Living course is required. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is paid in installments and benefits include education and transportation perks.

Qualifications

• RN licensed by the State of Maryland.
• Current CPR certification.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Completion of a Maryland approved Delegating Nurse for Assisted Living course.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates completion of Service Plans for Assisted Living residents with the Assisted Living Manager.
• Observes each resident at least every 45 days.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of the medical record.
• Reviews the Assisted Living Manager’s assessment of residents.
• Coordinates and participates in family/resident service plan conferences.
• Ensures effective communication with other shifts and departments regarding medical records.
• Delegates nursing tasks appropriately.
