Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in an acute care setting. You will ensure medication safety, collaborate with physicians and families, and evaluate nursing plans of care. The role requires NCLEX/licensure and 2+ years of acute care experience.

You will document accurately in the EMR, participate in performance improvement, and support department operations. BSN preferred; strong teamwork and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold NCLEX pass letter and/or active RN license.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• RN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to medication safety policies.
• Maintains professional rapport with physicians, patients, and families.
• Evaluates the nursing plan of care and communicates patient responses to the team.
• Demonstrates accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and quality standards.
• Assists providers with bedside procedures and patient goal achievement.
