Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a licensed RN to provide comprehensive patient care in an acute care hospital setting in New York. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while coordinating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, discharge planning, and ensuring safety and quality care across shifts. Fluency in English and a strong attendance record are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (Required)
• ACLS (Preferred)
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing in acute care (Preferred)
• Must read, write and speak fluent English

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care via nursing process.
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans with team and family.
• Document assessments, plans, and evaluations in the medical record.
• Administer medications following five rights and safety protocols.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdepartmental communication.
• Supervise and delegate tasks within scope of practice.
