Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. You will develop care plans, communicate changes to physicians, and participate in discharge planning with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program required.
• ACLS preferred; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans with input from patient/family and staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Administer medications following five rights and document accurately.
• Educate patient and family about pain management and care plans.
