Job summary

Larksfield Place is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) with every-other-weekend rotation in Wichita, KS. You will deliver resident-centered care, assess conditions, coordinate plans, and supervise nursing staff while ensuring quality and compassionate service.

Base pay starts at $33.00/hour with increases for experience, shift differentials, weekend premiums, and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to supervise LPNs, CMAs, CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and standards.
• Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs during shifts.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other care team members.
• Communicate with residents and families, offering updates and support.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely per regulatory standards.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or changes in resident condition.
• Promote infection control and maintain a safe environment.
