Job summary
Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift to join our dedicated team. You will provide hands-on nursing care, support the nursing team, and help ensure our residents receive quality, compassionate care.
The ideal candidate holds a current Alabama RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and has strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama RN license in good standing (required).
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Assess residents and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
