AdventHealth Apopka is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care in a seven-story, 158-bed hospital. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the care team, and maintain precise documentation.

Earn competitive pay and participate in a Clinical Ladder program with potential salary increases based on performance and development. The role requires an RN license, BLS, and 1+ year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS required
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred
• Education: RN credentials as listed

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and documentation.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
