Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Yakima, WA, is seeking a registered nurse to provide medication assistance, direct nursing care, and supervision of staff in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

Shifts include day and NOC options at a top rate of $55.00 per hour plus shift differential, with a focus on resident well‑being, infection control, and accurate care documentation.

Qualifications

• Possess a current RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations.
