Job summary

Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. You will provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families while supervising assigned team members.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Active RN license in Illinois in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements by establishing rapport with patients and their support systems.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Promote patient independence by setting care goals, teaching conditions and self-care skills, and addressing questions.
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and measuring outcomes against goals.
• Resolve patient problems using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures and regulations, and calling for needed assistance.
• Protect patients and staff by following infection control policies and medication protocols.
