Job summary

Mercy is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room team. This full-time role, day shift with call required, offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to work in a high-acuity CVOR setting with open heart, vascular, robotic, and minimally invasive procedures.

Mercy provides comprehensive orientation for circulating and scrub roles and a supportive path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• One year RN experience preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current Missouri RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and evaluates overall effectiveness of care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information and adheres to Mercy Service Standards.

Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery, working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

• Open heart and vascular procedures
• Minimally invasive surgeries
• Robotic cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries

Qualifications

Required:

• Strongly prefer one year of RN experience
• Nursing degree from an accredited school
