Job summary

Mercy Cardiovascular Operating Room is seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join our Level I STEMI and Trauma Center team. On-call nights 7pm-7am (3 x12's) or 9pm-7am (4 x 10's) as a salaried RN.

The CVOR supports open heart, vascular, robotic, and minimally invasive procedures, collaborating with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery teams to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values and standards.

Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery, working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

• Open heart and vascular procedures
• Minimally invasive surgeries
• Robotic cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries

Qualifications:

Required Education:

• Nursing degree from an accredited school

License:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri

Certifications:

• BLS required
