Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room team. This salaried role supports open heart, vascular, robotic, and minimally invasive procedures in a Level I STEMI/Trauma Center.

The RN will provide direct patient care during on-call nights (7pm-7am or 9pm-7am) and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the CVOR using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team and other departments.
• Support Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeries in a highly specialized environment.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Mercy Cardiovascular Operating Room -Seeking Experienced CVOR RNs!

RN II- On Call Nights, 7pm-7am (3 x12's) or 9pm-7am (4 x 10's)

Salaried RN Position!

Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery, working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

• Open heart and vascular procedures
• Minimally invasive surgeries
• Robotic cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries

Qualifications:

Required Education:

• Nursing degree from an accredited school

License:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri

Certifications:

• BLS required
