Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a scrub-certified RN with CVOR specialization for a 10-week winter contract in New Haven, CT. You will scrub and circulate cardiac cases, ensuring patient safety and quality care in a demanding OR environment.

Two 24-hour on-call shifts per week and a mix of two 12-hour and two 8-hour shifts are required. ACLS/BLS and active CT nursing license are mandatory; Epic charting experience is essential.

Must-Have:

Description: Schedule consists of 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts per week. Coverage is specifically needed for winter for a ten-week contract only. Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. Start date must be by mid-December. No holidays off are permitted during this assignment. No more than five days off are allowed. Average patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2. Two 24-hour on-call shifts are required per week, either 7 PM to 11 PM or overnight. One day per week is available to stay late. Clinicians may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidate must have experience in both circulating and scrubbing cardiac cases. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients. Charting system used is Epic. Candidate must apply for a required license prior to submitting. Reference required for submission. Certification is required for cardiac procedures. Candidates should communicate any vacation plans during the submission process. Return staff policy requires a two-year absence before returning as a traveler. Modules are non-billable and must be completed prior to starting.
