Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for CVOR coverage in a very busy cardiovascular operating room. This 13-week assignment requires a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular experience and a compact-state RN license. BLS and ACLS are required, plus Level 1 trauma and Epic experience. Off-site call is required, with floating to other ORs as needed.

The unit has 25 operating rooms and a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. BSN is not required, and staff badge in/out at the facility.

Qualifications

• RN license from a compact state (compact state license).
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
• Must have Level 1 trauma and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• RN will circulate cardiovascular cases in the operating room.
• Staff will float to other operating rooms as needed.
• Off-site call is required; staff will not work alone while on call.
• Bed size for the unit is 25 operating rooms.
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1.

Description:

Cannot take a traveler who lives within 60 miles of the facility.

Can take travelers who live 61 to 80 miles from the facility.

Must have large hospital experience.

Very busy operating room.

Candidates must provide good interview times.

Manager will reach out directly for interviews prior to offering a position.

RN will circulate cardiovascular cases in the operating room.

Registered Nurses will also float to other operating rooms as needed.

Off-site call is required.

However, staff will not work alone while on call.

Will assist in cases for other specialties as needed when cardiovascular cases are not scheduled.

The bed size for this unit is 25 operating rooms.

Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1.

All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.

Scrub color will be provided.

Cancellation policy allows for cancellations up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.

Charting system used is Epic.

BSN is not required for this position.

Experience in a trauma care setting is preferred.

Care setting is acute.

Division is nursing.

Ability to float to other units/departments is required.
