Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the CVOR in Martinsburg, WV. This 13-week travel assignment requires expertise in a broad range of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries in a high-volume surgical environment.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with BLS, required licensure, and readiness for rapid-on-call requirements. Travel-ready candidate will support diverse cases, including robotic and open procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of cardiac surgery cases including CABG, valve repair/replacement (open and robotic), ECMO, and transplant.
• Participate in thoracic surgery procedures (robotic, endoscopic, open) such as lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy, POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport insertion, EGD, and stenting.
• Engage in vascular surgery procedures including diagnostic angiography, percutaneous interventions, endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair, visceral arterial repair, and amputations.

Description:The position requires expertise in various cardiac surgery cases, including CABG, valve repair/replacement (both open and robotic), ECMO, and transplant.The role also includes thoracic surgery, encompassing robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures such as lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy (open and robotic), POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport insertion, EGD, and stenting of GI and respiratory systems.Vascular surgery experience involving diagnostic angiography, percutaneous interventions, surgical endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair (open and endovascular), visceral arterial repair/intervention, and amputation is also required.Clinicians will be involved in holiday call as needed, with mandatory call responsibilities including one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month.Call response time is 30 minutes.Floating to other services may be required.Mandatory call coverage will be required.Surgical scrubs will be provided in a designated color.Candidates should be prepared for a robust clinical environment and a variety of surgical cases.
