Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate patient care, develop individualized plans, and lead a multidisciplinary team. You will ensure safe, high-quality care, maintain sterile fields, and document accurately in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN License or compact license required.
• BSN must be completed within 6 years of hire into an RN position.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Able to perform sterile-field and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient and EMR documentation.
• Compliance with ANA Scope of Practice and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients and families, including direct care, education, and discharge planning.
• Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Revise diagnoses, outcomes, and care plans as appropriate.

• Perform aseptic techniques and maintain sterile fields.
• Maintain infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with procedures and patient transportation.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and training.
• Mentor and educate colleagues and students.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and timely EMR documentation.
• Report safety incidents and monitor work environment.
• Provide leadership to ancillary personnel as team leader and preceptor.

• Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while respecting privacy and treating patients, families, guests, and associates with dignity and compassion

• Assist with hospital procedures and patient transportation
• Participate in evidence-based practice, research, in-service training, and educational seminars
• Mentor and educate colleagues and students
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, organizational, hospital, and departmental standards
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
• Report safety incidents and monitor the work environment for safety issues
• Provide leadership to ancillary personnel as a team leader and preceptor

Requirements

• RN hires on or after 7/1/2016 must graduate from a BSN program within 6 years of hire into an RN position
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Ability to practice within the ANA Scope of Practice, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards
• Ability to perform sterile-field and infection-control procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate patient and EMR documentation
• Ability to comply with state and federal regulations and organizational policies
• Ability to complete mandatory modules and job-specific training
