Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to join the Cardiovascular Care team in Albuquerque. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular care and be dedicated to high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration with moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and assisting in EP/invasive procedures. BLS/ACLS/PALS required; NM or Compact RN license active.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active NM or Compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire.
• One year CVL experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessments and care planning.
• Medication administration and moderate sedation.
• Hemodynamic monitoring.
• Circulating and scrubbing in EP and invasive procedures.
• Patient and family education.

Responsibilities:

This position is eligible for enhanced incentives for CVL-experienced nurses:

• $12,500 + $6,000 relocation (2-year commitment) for 0-2 years
• $17,500 + $6,000 relocation (2-year commitment) for 3-4 years
• $22,500 + $6,000 relocation (3-year commitment) for 5+ years

Role Overview

A cardiac cath lab nurse specializes in:

• Assisting with catheterizations
• Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
