Origin Travel Nurses is looking for an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse in Wilkes-Barre, PA to provide specialized care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery. This role demands both technical skills for critical care nursing and a deep compassion for patient care.

You will be responsible for directly delivering patient care, monitoring conditions, and assisting with complex procedures. Qualifications include BLS and ACLS certifications and preferably experience in open heart surgeries.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. This role involves providing specialized care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery and other complex cardiothoracic conditions. The ideal candidate will not only have the technical skills necessary for critical care nursing, but also demonstrate compassion and dedication to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures involving ICP drains and balloon pumps.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Ability to float to other units as required.
