Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a skilled RN for the CVICU in Fredericksburg, VA. This 13-week night shift assignment features 12-hour shifts and the opportunity to care for trauma and complex surgical patients in a fast-paced ICU.

Responsibilities include dysrhythmia management, arterial line care, and blood product administration, with float availability to other units as needed. Epic charting and strong interdisciplinary support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CVICU experience
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Ventilator management and CRRT knowledge
• Able to float to other units as needed

Description:The unit serves a specialized population including trauma patients and complex surgical cases.Diagnosis types include acute ventilator needs, severe sepsis, and multi-system organ failure.Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, and blood product administration.The nurse will work with patients who have undergone major surgeries, including cardiac procedures.Patient ratios will vary from 1:2 to 1:3 depending on skill level and acuity.Every other weekend is required.The nurse may float to other units as needed.The facility utilizes Epic for charting and has interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals.Special equipment includes ventilators, CRRT machines, and internal temperature management devices.This is a fast-paced environment suited for a skilled and adaptable nursing professional.
