Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas RN license and be capable of teaching adult learners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience teaching or training adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches basic principles and concepts of vocational skills to students.
• Maintains classroom discipline to maximize learning.
• Coordinates curriculum development with other instructors and delivers applied academics.
• Provides instruction and remedial training to help students obtain industry certifications.
• Keeps student records and progress, including TARs and assessments.
• Delivers context-rich, work-based learning opportunities and supports career readiness.
• Ensures safety and compliance with applicable regulations in the training environment.
