Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 21-bed IMCU/med-surg unit at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Enjoy a Magnet-recognized facility with the lowest RN-to-patient ratios in the greater seacoast area, and a supportive environment with clinical educators and leadership.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment, systems thinking, and clinical inquiry to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care on night shifts in a per diem/part-time capacity. Onsite location: 789 Central Avenue.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• RN program completion required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required.

Qualifications

1. CLINICAL JUDGMENT
   • o Appropriately assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care, specific to population served
   • o Follows policies/procedures, clinical practice standards pertinent to care, including emergency situations
   • o Matches formal knowledge with clinical events to make decisions

   • o Prioritizes and organizes work appropriately to effectively meet patient needs

   • o Actively participates in the collection and use of data and/or evaluation relative to unit-based performance improvements
