This role involves leading patient care within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating, directing, and assisting team members, ensuring quality outcomes, respecting diversity, and supporting departmental goals. The role also emphasizes professional responsibility and accountability.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Work Experience

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Certifications

• Required: Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in Clinical Specialty Area.
