This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes, respecting cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and supporting the department’s strategic goals. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for own practice and supports the company's nursing philosophy.
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
None required.
Required: Current RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
