This role leads in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members, accounts for quality patient outcomes, demonstrates sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.
Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds constantly, and perform other physical work typical of a patient care setting. Duties routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue, and potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste.
