Join our Critical Care Float Pool and our team of flexible and highly trained nurses to provide care in the Med Surg, Cardiovascular, and Neuro ICUs. After six months, RNs receive training in the Emergency Department. Cross-training opportunities are also offered in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and select outpatient areas. Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient’s care needs. Provides nursing care across departments that provide critical care services. Provides specialized care to patients who are severely ill or injured. May practice in an intensive care unit or in a care area that requires the expertise of the critical care nurse.
Pay Range Pay Range: $44.64 to $74.33 per hour
