Job summary

Incredible Health in Portland, OR is recruiting an RN - Critical Care to join our ICU team. You will rapidly assess patients, manage life-support systems, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

Qualifications

  • ADN or higher nursing degree required.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1+ years ICU/critical care experience preferred.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Ability to function effectively under stress and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with patients, families and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly assess patient conditions, vital signs and intervene with appropriate care.
  • Monitor and provide care to critically ill, unstable and life-threatening patients.
  • Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and cardiac monitoring.
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations.
  • Administer medications and other treatments as ordered.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about the condition and care plan.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications
