Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care, collaborating with the care team and applying the nursing process to ensure safety and comfort. The role reports to the RN/Nurse Manager and may supervise Nursing Assistants and techs.

Required: Associate degree in nursing; Florida RN license; BLS/CPR. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and 2+ years RN experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Licensed RN in Florida; BLS/CPR certification; other life support as required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment.
• Provides care through collaboration with healthcare team and the nursing process.
• Leads, mentors, and role models for other members of the healthcare team.
• Coordinates and delegates care in a safe, secure, and clean environment.
• Demonstrates respect for patient rights, dignity, values, confidentiality, and expressed needs.
• Uses evidence-based practice and information technologies to provide comfort, relieve pain, and alleviate anxiety.
• Follows Florida Nurse Practice Act and TMH policies.
