Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Waukesha, Wisconsin area to join our correctional healthcare team. Local pay: $52.50 per hour on a 12 hour shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am), with travel rate details as applicable.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Local Pay: $ 52.50 /hour - W2

Travel Rate (based on 36hours): Hourly $22.41, Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00,

Total Comp: $2,052.76

Shift Details:

• 12 hour - 7.00pm - 7.30am

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedWI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as aRN

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
