HAN Staff is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for New Lisbon, WI, offering a local pay rate of $60.42 per hour. You will join a correctional care team delivering high-quality patient care in a safe, secure setting with dedicated support.

Responsibilities include assessing health, administering medications, documenting EMR, and educating patients, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Requirements include WI RN license, BLS, PSV, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• PSV verification completed if required.
• BLS certification and immunization records required.
• Current certifications and compliance documents must be provided.

• 1098D and 1098N

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted WI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
