Zusammenfassung

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team at the Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, Kansas. The RN provides quality nursing care within the scope of practice, acts as a patient advocate, and leads nursing teams to promote best practices in a corrections setting.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, current RN license in Kansas, CPR certification, and continuing competency in state regulations.

Qualifikationen

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active RN license in the state of employment.
Active CPR certification.
Knowledge of state practice acts and regulations.
Annual clinical competencies completed.

Aufgaben

Maintain accurate reports and records.
Administer medications and monitor reactions.
Record vital signs and patient information.
Coordinate with healthcare team on care plans.
Direct or supervise nursing staff.
Prepare patients for examinations.
Educate patients and families on health topics.
Ensure stock and supplies are maintained.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
